-See previous AMD trade for notes. This was part of the same.
-Should have moved stops up rather than take profits. Setup a trailing stop.
-Clearly did not use position sizing which led to a huge win but is not sustainable for options. Lucky I didn't lost the fucking roof off my head.
Huge loss, mistakes made:
-Impulse trade. Did not prepare before-hand. Had NO PLAN.
-Did not position size correctly or enter a stop properly.
-Went soaring through the roof and was in the money for a bit but quickly dropped. A stop and plan could have prevented this.
-Day trade-- if I would have held on to this for a few days, it would have recovered most of my money. I choked, because I refuse to allow losses to grow. I did the right thing by getting out of the trade but I should have never been so far in the red in the first place.
-Position sizing was not correct-- I am lucky it went up. If I had position sizing and proper stop, I could have let it run more, though the profits would have been less dramatic. Need to focus on consistency first, then homeruns.
-Tried to chase at the end of the day, hoping for a gap up in the morning.
-Because of improper position sizing, I was fearful and did not provide the trade with enough room to work. On a slight down trend in the morning, I sold quickly but still lost more than 1.5%.
-Position sizing was off, stops were off, trade was not planned properly.
Biggest mistake goes to.....
Complete gambling. Absolutely zero plan or stop setup. Bought WAY too fucking big of a position. Serves me right. HAVE A PLAN DIPSHIT.
