TopStepTrader Trial and My Start in Futures Trading
Day 2 of my TopStepTrader trial! Day 1 included wild sizing and horrible risk management, even though the day turned out green. Day 2 was me trading as I would a live account. The maximum number of contracts I had at any one time was 2, and I averaged about 9 ticks of capture during my quick(ish) trades. The trades actually took about a half hour total, which is about 3-4x my average holding time for stocks. Interesting there. I feel like I can capture a lot more of the move if I size down/minimize risk and ride out the noise for an hour or so.
