2nd Day Self Contention +$296.00
Today was the second trading day for my self contention week.
3 winners and 1 loser. At 9:48 I had around $375 green. Obviously I had to trade the fourth one. I DID SKIP ONE OF THE AUTO-DISCIPLINE BULLET POINTS.
Fourth trade was a loser -$89 I shorted DAO when it was a momentum stock and I TRADED AGAINST THE TREND «-------- BIG MISTAKE. ALSO THE SPREAD WAS 15 - 20 CENTS.
I set a stop short at $24.15 and triggered at $24.05 covered at $24.28
THREE MISTAKES: OVERTRADED; LARGE SPREAD; SHORTED BULLISH MOMENTUM STOCK AGAINST TREND.
AMD right 1 minute after opening, I saw it long and after 15 cents I sold.
GOOS 2 minutes after market opened, long 21 cents; then short 38 cents; Total +$232 then I tried to short it again and just quit after 5 minutes. It wasn't working.
DAO long 21cents for +$94 profit; tried to short and not a good idea...
Overall a very good day, I was green right away. If I would have done 2000 shares instead, the profit would have been around $1,500 with 8000 shares $56 in commissions.
