We’ve recently added support for importing futures trades from the NinjaTrader platform. Enjoy and trade safe!
Hey all! A new update as of the morning of 11-16-19: Our generic import will now allow for TopStepTrader’s trial product imports, which is a version of the Tradovate platform. If you’re wanting to take a stab at trading futures, they have a two week trial which you can check out here.
The trades list now has a radio button option for viewing open trades. We’ve always just shown closed trades because that’s what we give you statistics for, but there is no reason for you to not at least be able to see open trades on the site, so that’s there now.
We also updated the import page slightly to get rid of empty space in the import wizard (just the interface you see). It also will now show instructions on how to obtain the import file itself from your broker for those brokers we have instructions for.
We’ve added RobinHood to the list of supported brokers for the trading journal! Instructions for obtaining a RobinHood trades file export can be found here: https://www.tradeinsights.net/brokerHelp#robinhood
It’s not the most exciting thing in the world, but it keeps me in practice! This proves I’m drinking the kool-aid too! My consistency is definitely improving over the last time I traded, and I’m looking forward to hitting the live markets again. I’ve been starting off my day with about 20-30 mins of trading before I start the TradeInsights workday. Hope you all have a wonderful weekend!
Our calendar view defaults to the monthly view, but have you noticed the “Year View” tab? Yep… you can see the entire year at once. Click on any day to see trading details for that day. Happy trading!

Today we released the trading journal/blog type feature. Now, more than just calculations and ratios, charts, etc, we allow you to make BLOG type entries for your journal, including the ability to upload screenshots (up to 10 per post) and photos to accompany your journal entries. We hope you enjoy the new features!
It’s coming, and it’s coming soon! A bit late for a site that claims to be a trading “journal”. We do allow notes on trades on the trades list page, but there’s no place for daily trading journal entries. That’s all changing. Oh yeah, you’ll be able to insert photos of your screencaps as well. You guys and gals have a great weekend!
Oh! And you will notice a few menu changes in the days to follow. Organizing!
